MAKI SHIMADA

Born in Asuka, Nara Prefecture.

It is now ten years since I came up to Tokyo.

I am also based in local Asuka

and made it possible to "anywhere in Japan and around the world".

In this house in the main street in Asuka,

I imagine I hold various workshop and people gather as if they came to the rural area.

I hope to create a space and time that blends into each daily life.

奈良県出身

上京して10年。

地元奈良県明日香村飛鳥にも拠点を置き、

”日本どこでも世界あちこち"できるようにしました。

メイン通りにある一軒家で、

ワークショップをしたり、色々な人たちが田舎に遊びに来た感覚で集い、

それぞれの日常生活に溶け込むような空間と時間になればと思っています。
